Did you install the Rezond Software

I was wondering if anyone installed the software that's in the Rezound. Shows as a CD on my computer. What is it? What does it do?
Is there something special about the Rezound's micro USB cable? It looks different.

Do you mean HTC Sync, or the drivers? The micro USB is not compatible with other phones, but other micro USB's work with the Rezound.

HTC's USB cable has a lock on it so that the plug doesn't "fall out". The software that's mounted as a CD is HTC sync which is useless unless you sync exchange/calendar.

Isn't the 'special' micro usb port also to support the hdmi adapter?
