Is there a desktop backup app for the droid pro, like the one for blackberry? I recently had to replace my droid and had to reload all my gmail accounts adn other info by hand.

There's no equivalent to Desktop Manager. There are various sync apps and media managers that might help. You'd have to provide info for your accounts anyway and let the device sync.

In other home launcher apps, like ADWlauncher, it has backup native in its settings.

If you are roote,d you can do back ups with clockwork recovery and then use something like titanium media sync to back up your back ups to your PC. This is how I do it.
