Deleting "Corporate Calender"

I never anticipate using the Corporate Calender (which came pre-installed on my Droid). Whenever I use the phone, and clear running apps before turning it off, I notice that the Corporate Calender is running. Is this a bad thing? If so, how do I rid myself of this unwanted feature?
