So, like an idiot I deleted the Google calendar app but I don't know how to get it back. I've searched but I can't seem to find a way to download it.

I've done all kinds of searches and all I can come up with are other calendar apps? How do I get back the original calendar app?

Was it Calendar.apk or CalendarProvider.apk? Either way when I get home I can try to copy them off, and then post them. You'll have to have a file manager installed on your phone to re-install them. If I forget tonite, I'll definately do it in the morning.

Oh wow, :welcome: since this is basically your first post/thread. Here it is, although there's two things you need to know. One it's been themed a tiny bit to the DarkSE/24k gold theme and two it from my Moto A855 and I don't know if that will be a problem for you with your HTC Glacier. Side note, you might want to change your profile here to reflect what phone you have as well.

good luck

p.s. it is zipped, but it's easy enough to extract

Thanks teddy, I really appreciate that.

I added my signature too. Btw...why does it say "Glacier" when i respond from my phone? I am TOTALLY new to Android. My last phone was a Windows Mobile and yes you can shoot me for that.

Ok I uninstall an app but the icon for it still shows up in the app drawer. How do I get rid of it.

If the icon is still in the app drawer, its not uninstalled.
Did you download the app or did it come with phone?
How do I get rid of it.
If your not rooted, you probably cant.
If you are rooted, then Titanium Backup or a file manager will work.

It wasn't preinstalled and I'm unrooted. But I fix it just rebooted the phone now its gone. The app was quadrant something or another. I was wanting to check the speed of my phone.
