delay in working of speaker and microphone at start of phone calls

Hi everyone,

Since a couple of weeks I have a problem with my Galaxy Nexus. When I start or receive a phone call, the first 5/10 seconds I can't hear anything, nor can the other person hear me.

When I use an app (e.g. Viber), I haven't experienced this problem.

Has anyone experienced the same problem or has a possible sollution?

you could try booting into recovery and clearing cache. if that doesnt work, a factory reset would be the next option to try.
