Earlier this month, Google dropped the price of the 5X from $379. to $349. Today, Google has dropped the price again to $299. For those who want an awesome device with direct Google support, head over to the Google Store and reserve yours. Yup, they are out of stock so plan on a 2 week wait [or more] for delivery.

Two friends have them. Then here I am with the big boy 6P. I think running with the 5X would be more enjoyable but the 6P is better for daily use, for me at least.

Still $349 for the 32GB version. Not a bad price by any means.

Given that my 6P is out for repair do to a random crack in the back glass, I'm finding myself more tempted by this as well. The S3 I've been using for a backup is really starting to get to me. This would be a much better option. Hopefully, it'll keep dropping a bit in price over time if I end up with other issues with the 6P.

I definitely feel like I'd prefer the 6P for daily use, but it'd be nice to have a better backup phone or option for times when a smaller phone might be a better choice...
