I'm about to purchase two tablets for the youngins. They have to have on board children's mode. Is this possible with the ASUS?

Right now I am looking at the Kindle and the Tab 3 children's edition. They only have 8GB of onboard storage, but the Tab 3 has a microsd slot.

This price isn't too far off from the other two.

That's because jellybean was the latest when the nexus 7 came out in 2013. You can just update to Lollipop when you get it.
