10% battery life
10h 31mins 18s since unplugged.
Display 36%
Android system 14%
DroidForums 11%
Browser 10%
And all the other ones were at 6% and 4%.

I have the 2300 mAh LiIon BPX7 extended battery from Batteries4less.com

That was my first day using my extended battery. Im not happy with results. Shouldnt it be lasting longer? Or does it need a few more days cycling? Please help.

Hmm... normally these kind of numbers are indicative of a rogue app or something chewing through power, but if those numbers you posted are what you're seeing under battery stats... then that does not appear to be the case. That's about average.

With heavy usage (several hours of music, Wi-Fi and GPS on, an hour or so of calls, several dozen texts, a few pictures or videos and maybe some Angry Birds) my extended battery will be around 50% after a full day (9+ hours or so). I have the official Motorola extended battery (1850mAh, iirc).
I may be wrong, but it might be that your battery is of sub-par quality. I grumbled when I had to spend the $40 (with discount on my account) for the extended battery for my D2, but it's official Moto... and... well, that might be what the difference here is?

So what you suggest is getting the one from Verizon? Will it last me a full day? It didn't last me on the second day of use either ..

I'd say try the VZW extended battery and see if your results are better. I've tried various unofficial batteries for different devices with mixed results, but official batteries have always worked well... they're full-price, but you get what you pay for I guess...

Charge your phone for a few hours longer than usual, then wipe battery stats.

Use custom recovery to, or use a battery calibration app.

It will clear your current battery stats that have already been compiled by android from your last lower capacity battery to allow a fresh start.

Root with z4root and then download a battery calibration app that needs root.
