Here is the Data Throttling Hack for SS 4.95
I did the hack my self and applied it to mine and it booted up fine.

First boot up will take longer then normal.

Mobile Network Settings will Force Close.

    Download: Unthrottled_ss4.95.zip

    Install:
    1. Put the .zip on your sdcard.
    2. Use ROM Manager or boot into recovery and install it.

think it will work on 4.9? I'm having the blank screen issue with 4.95 and don't really wanna wipe everything and reset up so I'm holding off.

how would I know if it works on not if I try it?

    Data cap fix

I installed, works fine. Booted no problem. Only a slight increase in speed, but where the magic happens is here: when I tether to my laptop, & download a large file, it will complete now, instead of timing out! It allows you to download more data, with no slow down! Thanks...:blackdroid:

I'm assuming this is only for cm recovery and not sp recovery?...because I'm on SS4.95 and sprecovery and just tried to install it and it said "install aborted"

If so it would be awesome if you or someone could make a sprecovery compatible version?

You could extract the file and move it to system/framework then reboot.

I just put the update.zip on wifes droid w/ spr recovery. Like I said earlier, I powered off, battery pull, restart holding x to reboot into spr recovery install update.zip. bingo!! No more big red throttle. It was much easier with clockwork recovery though!:greendroid:

Guys. Any .zip is for either sprecovery or clockwork. Except clockwork can install any named .zip and sprecovery can only install update.zip. so to use sprecovery just rename the .zip to update.zip.

dude, just extract the service.jar file from the zip. Use a file explorer (root explorer) or terminal to move it to /system/framework....and replace the service.jar file in there.

No need to do this in recovery. Especially if you are having trouble. If you dont have root explorer, go buy it...more than worth its price.
