Data Roaming Turns Itself Off

I just got my Droid 3 on Tuesday, and I love this phone. I cant wait for it to be rooted, so I can overclock it, but thats another story.

It is constantly giving me a message that says "Data Roaming Is Turned Off" or something like that, I dont remember the exact wording. I have to go back into settings and turn Data Roaming Back On. This doesnt make any sense, considering I have a National Plan.

Any ideas what is causing this issue ? Am I alone on this ? The only thing I have done, is switch it from Global to CDMA because I was told it would save battery life.

There has already been a thread on this, basically moto and verizon both say they didn't do it and don't know why it's happening. I'll be calling them again about it soon.

I have been told that a factory reset works. I did this on mine and it is about 90% better but still does it every once in awhile. Usually when it goes back and forth from roaming to verizon a couple times and then unchecks it self.
