I don't think it is the Bionic. Right before the update I started to have issues that were network related. Verizon is expanding their network so quickly there are bound to be issues that customers will experience. I haven't had many problems lately but look through the forums other phones are dropping data. I personally would not want a refurb phone if your phone was solid before the update.
