D2G Stuck at Motorola Logo

OK now it flashed most of the way but gets stuck on switching the phone to BP Pass through mode and then the phone reboots and the flash fails

That's usually caused by not doing it on a USB 2.0 port. I'm assuming you have that, so I'd suggest another PC if you can find one that you can use -- if you've tried every last USB port on that beast. :)

Okay. Delete the error log (it sounds weird but it does sometimes help), try again, and if that doesn't work try another computer. If THAT doesn't work then it has to go back.

Another thing to do is put the SBF on the root of the C: drive and rename it something like d2g.sbf before trying it again.

Yay driver issues! :)

If you'd had any other problems I was going to ask if you had a blank CDR laying about because I'd dug up instructions on how to use a Linux live CD and a Linux program to do the same thing. But soooo glad it's working for you!

I actually tried in Ubuntu and had more difficulties there. The issue was that it when it switched the device mode for BP Pass, the computer couldnt recognize the device
