How do you get into the stock recovery on the D2G? Power+x brings up android exclamation triangle screen. Isn't there something else to push at that screen.

You gotta press the search key to bring up recovery options when you get to the exclamation screen.

D2G recovery lost ~ it won't boot into recovery even after SBF :(

After SBF; my D2G won't let me to recovery ~ stuck at the M LOGO
I tried everything including X+Power but it's as if Recovery is fried , it's lost..

Is it possible that the Keyboard is burned? Is there any other way ; any other key or button combination to boot into recovery? Maybe ADB Shell SU from off power?
So far only Software Upgrade mode works; VolumeUp+VolumeDown+Power

Please help..

P.S. Why do they call RSD Lite? Is there a non-lite full version which may let me boot into recovery using the computer and USB cable?
Thank you in advance//

Why do they call RSD Lite?
full RSD is for moto employees only
D2G won't let me to recovery ~ stuck at the M LOGO
pull battery, and try X+Power, again
ADB Shell SU from off power
maybe, but think you need usb debugging enabled
How to fix a Bootloop with ADB: from FAQs
"On a computer with adb installed, navigate to your android-sdk's platform tools folder or whichever location adb is found in via command prompt. Run this:
adb shell "echo 1 > /data/.recovery_mode; sync;"
adb reboot"

Wish it worked..

Thank you themib but none of the above worked.. I tried all available SBF's but neither recovery shows up nor the phone go pass the M Logo..
I am hoping with any future update SBF's auto wipe data & cache.. 2.4.29 didn't do it for me nor 2.3.30 or 4.608 ..
ADB was not an option since I couldn't make the phone recognized by the computer from boot with the M Logo..

Though it looks like a nice white brick ;)

you never got back to?
Power+x brings up android exclamation triangle screen.
does the phone still charge?
when bootlooping, if you press ctrl, alt lock, and delete does phone reboot?
have you tried ezSBF?

edit: not ctrl, alt lock, and delete

reboot with: hold alt, shift, and delete

I have to ask, did you update to the latest (.629) OTA? Because if you did, and then tried to SBF, you just broke your phone.

if he was on .629, he would be stuck at bootloader, after SBF
not bootlooping at moto logo

Damaged Flash Memory?

The phone doesn't charge no more.. I have an external battery charger.. ezSBF didn't help either
I can SBF the normal way also ~ without problem..
The problem is : the phone gets stuck at the M LOgO
it needs wipe data factory reset but REcovery doesn't work X+power..

Maybe the flash Memory Damaged.. :(

Thanks for all your help ..

you never see android guy with !
you tried pulling battery , replace battery, then connect to charger, while press and holding x

you can get to bootloader with pressing volume buttons, can you get to bootloader pressing the up key, on keyboard?

does ctrl, alt lock, delete reboot phone?

edit: not ctrl, alt lock, delete
reboot with: hold alt, shift, and delete

I never can put the phone into recovery mode even changing battery, connecting the charger.. Holding X and Power Up doesn't do nothing :(
It feels like Keyboard is burned none of the buttons work , it doesn't lite up

you can get to bootloader with pressing volume buttons, can you get to bootloader pressing the up key, on keyboard?

Bootloader works and even let's me flash different SBF.s
does ctrl, alt lock, delete reboot phone?

No reboot no matter what keyboard button combination .. :(
I either need a SBF which wipe's data automatically or a special way of entering Recovery mode without using keyboard..

I never see the Android guy or the Exclamation mark..

Didn't update ever to .609 before this happened..

I feel like unscrewing my white brick and exploring the goodies inside :)

yes, but I was asking, if you could get there by pressing the keyboard up button. not volume keys

if you want to take a part, New Replacement Keyboard if it's the keyboard and not the flash memory
