D2G Keyboard

Is the D2G keyboard really different than the D2 or is this just a misunderstanding? I've been tying to get some diffinitive answers on this issue. Can anyone help me out?

The keyboards are identical from what I've seen.

I had the droid2 before D2G and the keyboard is improved from the original slightly. They do function better for me and IMO the keys are slightly raised more than the original which makes it easier to type.

I agree! It is improved but only very slightly.

I had the D2 before the global. I like the global much better!

I exchanged my droid 2 for a droid 2 global within the 30 days verizon gives you. The global has a way better keyboard, little things like being able to use the top keys (especially in a case) keys being more like buttons and not a mat. Also the D2 Global is way faster than the Droid2 in every way. I used both phones for approximately 3 weeks.
