D1-MIUI-1.4.8 (Gingerbread)

Updated the D1-Miui 1.4.8 to include newer CM7 (nightly 38) and translations 1.4.8c. It seems more stable on my phone, but I have not done extensive testing. Try it out and report back.

Not sure everything seams good other than market stays art saying downloading. Wont advance from that. Any help or input would beer cool.

I had this issue too. Go the the 'downloads' app, tap menu, some option about wifi/3G and set it back to 3G. Solved the problem for me.

I am normally not one to complain, but this is way too unstable still. 4 random reboots in the last hour on 4.8"a", I really hate to do this but I am going to have to return to 3.25

A big thanks to everyone who makes MIUI happen, 4.8 is gorgeous and I look forward to flashing the next (hopefully a bit more stable) release

Just flashed it, will report.

I didn't do a wipe, like I normally do, flashed it right on top of 1.4.8

Let me know if that's ok, if not, I can do a full wipe, depending on what you need.

Thanks for all the work... I still love MIUI, even if it's buggy.

I guess I'm a die hard CM fan though, and the combined brain power that put/keeps that together probably helped get this in our hands a bit sooner, so I'm ok with it.

It's the interface I'm after... the code that it sits on top of may as well be the most stable thing out there, right?

Or am I missing some bigger point about the machine?

It's not like Koush is Bill Gates or anything, or team douche for that matter.

Still small time, at least in my book.

Whatever... let's enjoy our OG Droids for as long as possible I say...

I still can't figure out what I would replace this pig with!!!

flashing 1.4.8b. Hopefully it won't keep rebooting as that's the main issue I have. That and a seemingly broken vibrate.

I use to have randoom reboots and hard reboots, but when my phone when black, I Pop the keyboard open and start messing with the keys, it made reboot by itself, also, since I change my heap size to 48 my reboots kind of stopped. I haven't had any problems with GPS. Leds, or vibrating.

Its not my choice, it is what the chinese devs use. Two thoughts though...
1. What other base source supports so many devices?
2. Is there any other GB source to build from?

So far I am quite amazed. I also love new UI additions. I very much love the speed and battery, and I have only gotten 2 reboots, bu that doesn't surprise me or annoy me because it is a super-beta.

I WAS hoping that ginger MIUI would bring some new hacked options like LED settings per application like CM7 has, and other stuff, but so far so nice compared to other roms. Glad someone is changing the face of Android and not just adding little things here and there...

Cant wait for a non-beta MIUI!

My phone is working hella good, like I said, I don't see that many bugs, well I'm happy, now running the new update with the same heap size, I haven't gotten any reboots or fc's.
