CyanoLock, Shade, & Other UI edits.

Since I found myself periodically editing little things around CM7 to my liking, I decided to just make it a thread instead of posting on the CM7 build thread. (so it could get more views hopefully. that thread gets so many posts that things get buried)

    CyanoLock [Cyan] (MetaMorph):

This is the eighth revision of it for those of you already using it. (03/20/11) It has been tested with CM7 original builds 19-41, and new builds 01-22. (winner00's and jeff's builds as well) Note: you will have to reapply the theme you are using if you used theme chooser to apply it. It is a MetaMorph file. (Do NOT try to flash it)

    Themed:
    -Pattern Lock
    -Slider Tabs
-Landscape Slider Tabs have been updated to look like GB-style portrait tabs
-Status Icons (circles inside slider tabs)
    -Custom App Launcher Arrows

    Changes:
v8: Themed custom app launcher arrows
v7: Increased transparency of landscape slider tabs
v6: updated "pressed" state of landscape sliders to be color consistent with portrait

    Notification Dropdown Background/Shade (MetaMorph)

I have attached three MM files which will change the background of the notification pulldown to either the cm6 translucent white cross-hatch, translucent dark matte, or DarkEdge mesh (diagonal micro-lines). (for those of us missing the transparent background)

This will cause a FC loop on the status bar until you reboot. Reboot will fix it though and it should be stable from then on.

UPDATE 02/10/11: WhiteShade cross-hatch has increased resolution. DarkShade has squares (cross-hatch) removed and is now matte. Added DarkEdgeShade.

    CyanDialer (MetaMorph)

    Download Here

Themes Phone and Contact list with cyan icons and accents.

    Cyanbread Extension (MetaMorph)

    Download Here

Combines the CyanoLock, CyanDialer, GingerRotary, DarkShade, ImmortalBattery, and CyanTooth mods to save time from applying each one-by-one.

Note: Make sure you have warnings disabled in MetaMorph settings or else the framework warning will show up beneath the phone FC dialog. It makes the warning very hard to dismiss. (not impossible though if you feel like having a little fun)

To-Do List (in order if I can help it):
    | LEGEND: Currently In Progress CyanoLock Related Misc/Standard On Hold |
    -Theme search widget [jimmydene84]
-Silver directional arrows on right side [gambit07]
-Fixed-width sms fields on WP7 Messaging Mod [boom131]
-Create MM file for WP7 Messaging Mod [crackedvenom]
-Transparent status bar with black/white scheme [jesssiii]
    -Sound On/Vibrate/Off text mod [gambit07]

Feel free to request that certain things be themed if you find them out of place.

Have had this one for a while. Love it but would love it even more if it was red since that is my theme. :)

Yeah that'd be great thanks! The cyanbread theme included in cm7 has everything except the lockscreen sliders themed, I'd really like an update for portrait/landscape on those :D

I assume you are using the slider tabs? (not the rotary dial) If so, do you want the tabs themselves blue or the colored circles set inside them? (or both)

Worked so far for me. And thanks!

Correct the slider tabs. If it's possible I'd like the tabs mostly transparent and the colored circle on the left (and the dot on the right when pressed) cyan/blue, the right colored circle when volume is on is fine but if you could make the mute/vibrate button a lightish black instead of orange (I believe there's some orange text as well that says Sound is On) that'd be great! Also when the tabs are slid over there's an accent right as you finish the slide, it'd be great if that was blue as well. Thanks so much!

Haha I know I think I'm just a details oriented person, I'd really like to figure out how to start theming and creating roms myself unfortunately I don't have much linux experience or know anybody who does. Again thanks so much the cyan theme will be complete for me with that :)

Check the first post. :) All done but the "Sound On" text which I'm having a hard time finding actually. If there are any changes you think up, let me know.

Is the power control in the notification bar themed for this? If not can you theme that? And i'd like to see a blue theme too if possible but I also like the cyan one.

Not sure what you mean. You want the symbols cyan or just the indicator? (You can change the indicator bar with cyanogenmod settings built in to cm7)

Anyone else not getting the CyanLock Red working? I metamorphed it and rebooted and I still have CyanLock.

EDIT: Well I ran it again and it Force Rebooted while theming, changed my wallpaper but the red Cyanlock is there now. Whatever my phone has to do to get it to work is fine by me LOL.

Hmm not sure why it gave you so much trouble. What build are you using? Also, since the lockscreen shows red when you get the pattern incorrect, this kinda interferes with that as in correct and incorrect patterns look identical. So do you (or anyone in general) mind this? Is there a different color people would like to have the incorrect pattern? (white perhaps?)

Question. Loved the Cyanolock when I had it on CM7 Nightly #25-26. Flashed #28 and then my metamorphed Cyanolock file to put it back in place. Phone went into reboot land. I have #28 running stable again. Is it necessary to rebuild the installer for Cyanolock with each ROM release? If so I will rebuild and try again. Just trying to avoid down time by experimenting. Thanks.

Well yes and no. On occasion a rom update will break MetaMorph themes in which case the theme needs to be recreated from the files in the latest build. I will go test it with build 28 and get back to you. If it's broken, I'll update it. You are using build 28 from the cm7 nightlies, yes? (as opposed to winner00's build)

Thanks. Yes, I am running the nightly builds including the stock kernel with that build.
