Well, that was pretty quick. Steve Kondik, the famous primary developer of CyanogenMod just announced on Google+ this morning he is leaving Samsung. You can't quite call it an abrupt departure, but it certainly is a bit surprising since it's after only 19 months on the job (he started in August 2011). It is unclear why he decided to leave, but it seems like it was an amicable arrangement, (so far). Here's a quote from Mr. Kondik's post,

We don't even have any intel or speculation as to the reasons for his leaving. Sound off a few theories of your own.

    Thanks for the tip, wicked!

Theory for him leaving...he wasn't happy there. It may sound like a dream job for some, but not all. I wish him well in his future endeavors.

I've got to wonder if his leaving has anything to do with the entire CM staff collectively agreeing to not develop for the S4? The timing is only what, a week and a half or so apart?
