CyanogenMod Gets CM7 Working on HPTouchPad!

    This is certainly some exciting news on our quest to port Android to the HPTouchPad: Apparently, the CyanogenMod Team have successfully ported CM7 in a partial state on the device! The team is working on creating a multi-boot scenario so you can potentially boot from WebOS, Android or whatever strikes your fancy. Above is a video showing the progress.

    Although the project has obviously made a great breakthrough, unfortunately it's not quite functional just yet. There is still some issues with the colors being off, and more importantly, the touchscreen still doesn't work. However, the team is working hard to "make it happen." Also, they have a need for more TouchPads to develop on and are requesting assistance from members of the community willing to lend their "excess" devices for the project.
