Rom is working well, although the hard keyboard does not light up for me.

I am using the new 04032012 update, and during setup (when I was setting up my Google account, etc...) they hard keyboard lights were working fine. Now, though, they are not working and my hard keyboard lights never turn on.

Is there a fix for this somewhere within the settings that I am missing, or is this something buggy within the ROM.

Turn on autobrightness

just wanted to say thanks for this. Flashed it earlier this morning and was running fine until I had to go to work and turn off my phone when I went on break to turn the phone back on it was already on and was in CWM which was weird tried rebooting and again CWM so with a heavy heart I had to flash another rom. Other then this issue I really liked this rom and will run it again when its a little more stable.

Hi

Hi 13th angel.
I am facing gsm data problems on the 3rd april build. I have uploaded a logcat to pastebin here. could you take a look.

Can you get a logcat for me then? Hard to fix something that none of us can test without help from the users.

Sorry to ask, did you really root it from version 2.3.4 as there are no rooting method available for this particular version. I tried it but it wasn't successful.
if you are on 629 you are probably out of luck .( and should have stopped OTAs long ago :) !! - looks like psouzas method doesn't work on 629... Motorola sucks

I can confirm that gsm data is working on the 1st march r3 build as mentioned in the forum thread but not on the latest 4.0.4 build. Sadly camera doesn't work on that build...

you can get 3g data runnig on gsm on the 3rd april 4.0.4 build CM9-D2G-04032012 by adding the following lines ( props to Gasai Yuno for this !!)
# Motorola/Qualcomm GSM data exception handling
ro.telephony.ignore.linkiperror=true

then do the *#*#4636#*#* trick on the dialer from within airplane mode and choose gsm/wcdma....

Thsi is now my daily driver !!! Mad props to all the devs !!

Hey... I followed the instructions on the OP and now my phone won't get past the white Moto m. I was running cm7 until I tried switching to this earlier today. Furthermore, adb isn't seeing my phone anymore so I can't even try sbf'ing to stock and starting over.

Help?

Edit: ADB sees my phone but only when it is stuck in a bootloop on the Moto m. RSD doesn't show anything though.

additional edit: RSD sees the device, but doesn't seem to see all device properties. What I do have is this:

IMEI/ESN/MEID: N / A
Technology: N / A
Software Version: N / A
Flex Version: N / A
Bootloader Version: v0x00D011
DRM Version: N / A
AP Die ID: 16300012939a3a0a0000d8ff0100
BP Die ID: 0000000000000000cd6932890485
AP Public ID: 3e1179b8ebfb7e34a059432b2898014a2bcd3855
BP Public ID: 040000000500000002000000ffff0000ed153289

would I be good to sbf from here, or would I brick my phone?

Having a similar issue. Wiped Data, Wiped cache and wiped dalvik. Im starting off on 2.4.33...rooted phone installed droid 2 boot strapper etc etc. I install the zips (CM9 31512 build and gapps on first page, also the md5 hashes match on both files). Install seems to go okay. Then when I Reboot I get stuck on the Moto M (Silver M). Once I Get to it I have to boot into the bootloader and use rsdlite to get back to factory rom. Was Really hoping to get CM9!!!

Wi-Fi not turning on or finding access points with build CM9-D2G-04162012

I've downloaded the newest build CM9-D2G-04162012.zip over a wifi connection from the 04032012 build. I've downloaded/installed it twice, after performing a factory reset/data wipe, wiped cache and delvik partitions but when going into Wi-Fi settings and switching on wifi I get the message "Wi-Fi turning on..." but is never able to build a list of access points. I've reverted back to the 4/3 build. Please see screnshots. I do have some linux experience, if you can give me any tips to get this working please let me know.
