I apologize if this is a stupid question, but I'm researching how to root and install the latest version of Cyanogen and I just had to replace my Droid and it has 2.1 on it. Are there any issues with installing Cyanogen on 2.1? I've looked around quite a bit and can't seem to find a clear cut answer... which makes me believe it's probably ok, but I want to make sure. Thanks

Go here CyanogenMod Forum -> Motorola Droid

    You'll find what you need.

If you're familiar with SBF's , you can do this: 2.1 SP Recovery SBF - DroidMod

After that, install ROM Manager, install Cyanogen, and Kernel. :icon_ banana: DROIDDDDDD!!!!!!
