It's nice to know how things work, and then you can play around with the settings and see the results. Reminds me of my early days of programming in BASIC! LOL!

I gotta step away for a bit, but I'll be on again in 10 minutes or so. If you're here we can chat. Otherwise I'll catch you again later...buddy!!

I would like to know how the creator made the images ... that must have been some work. I opened on image in Photoshop and Fireworks and just played around and couldn't even come close. :icon_eek:

I used a simple program called Paint.net, and then simply changed the hue from 0 to -115. I could do that with every one and can essentially use any color from +180 to -180. What I need is a batch hue changer that can do them all like your batch change size.

OK kids, here is the final build, works like a charm and tested and confirmed by FoxKat and myself:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16066634/bootanimation.zip

Place the .zip file in your system/media folder!

If you want the amplified boot sound, replace the droidhd.ogg file in the same folder with this one:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/16066634/droidhd.ogg

If you want to save the original stock .zip file and the low volume .ogg file, rename them and move them to your SD Card for safe keeping.

YOU MUST BE ROOTED TO DO THIS!!!

MattyP, I have one that I re-did the colors on and kept the resolution identical to the original red ones, so the animation is smoother and I like the blue more. Check it out at https://www.box.com/s/bcf5d07c762ecad7a9c2.

I found a NEAT way to change the colors of ALL the images in a batch process. It's called PhotoElf. They have a 30-day free fully functional trial, so I'm going to make a bunch of color versions. People will be able to choose from among dozens of colors. It should be neat!

You didn't forget to credit the OP, tinieblax where you found it first as well, did you? Just wouldn't want to be blamed for taking credit for someone else's (original) work!
