Fixes done. Rebooting.

Ok I was in a panic. After the "M" it went to black screen, I got nothing. Then it booted into my home screen. I did something wrong. :icon_eek:

I copied the entire thread of instructions from the known good to the new blue, and got NOTHING, no sound, no animated boot.

I went back in and simply added s droidhd.ogg to the original text from the new blue.

Uploading to the phone now.

you guys are having problems because you installed the loud ogg, right? I shouldn't have any problems when I reboot, right?

I just installed it and rebooted and didn't get the sound at all ... :blink:

Renamed the original .zip to "bootanimation2.zip"

Put the new one in the system/media folder. Rebooted and got no sound. Moved the original to the SD Card for safe keeping, booted again with no sound.

Moved the original back to the media folder, rebooted, and had the sound again. :blink:

Oh, you also have to make sure you change permissions from RW- RW- RW to RW- R-- R-- .

:icon_eek: what did you do matty... Im not even gonna mess with mine, the boot ani is good enough, I don't even need the sound (funny huh considering the thread I made about how low it was)

Well, yeah, except that the guy who made the blue version left out sound support.

SO I am back to Red animation and low volume sound again.

Let me do this one thing at a time.

OK, so now I have loud sound, Red animation.

Next step, get Blue animation working like Red.
