customer service troubleshooting

    I was on the line with verizon and they were troubleshooting, and he tried to have me do I hard reset, and I was like whoa hold up, Im not ready for one, I have stuff to backup.. so he said to call back sometime after I am busy to do the hard reset etc.

    If I were to call back and be like I did the hard reset like they told me and its still acting up, is their anyway they can tell on their end if I really did it or not?

    They can't tell - but chances are we can help, probably better than VZW - what kind of issues are you experiencing ?

    I can barely use my phone when its on the dock, its almost like the whole touch screen goes nuts when its plugged in the dock. It didnt do that with my old phone on the dock

    Is this a replacement D1 that they sent you ?

    correct.. it worked with my previous phone back early in the year, however that was a different version of android/BB

    Do you have the same results while using something other than BB ?

    not sure, ive always used BB.. maybe I could start a thread seeing if anyone else has BB 0.5 and a dock, and see if they have issues trying to use the on screen keyboard etc.. they we might know that its a BB issue

    Or you can just make a back-up and flash "whatever" ROM and run a quick test - the results that you get will be definite :)

    the dock is at work, and I wont be there till monday, so a post might be quicker.. haha
