Anyone know a way to change the touch tone sounds that play when you press a number on the dial pad?
they're in /system/media/audio/ui/
you'd have to adb new files into their respected replacement...
Ill get to working on it
no problem. Please post results. It's something I never really looked into, but I'd be curious to know how it turns out
you sure theyre in /audio/ui ?
All I can find are mostly camera normal button presses.
A nice, robotic voice saying the number would be nice... at least to match the "DROOOOIID" notification ring.
oh **** I'm sorry, I was thinking the keypress tone... I'll look around...
I was thinking the combine from half life 2 , they speak all the numbers. its slightly robotic sounding. but im sure you could find some that match the droid tone somewhat
Cant seem to find em, must not be .ogg or whatever the sound files are
custom touch tones
So I've been interested in this too. However I am unable to locate where the touch tones are located so as to change it. Yes I'm rooted and I do know how to nav and work root explorer. I've poured over most of the files and can't seem to locate the right one. Help! Thx
Anyone still interested in finding the volume for the dialer tones? I lost mine and it took forever to figure out how to adjust the tones.
