Custom Ring Tones for Email Accounts

I use K9 for my email. I am unable to set custom ring tones for my different email accounts. When I go into account settings and set the ring tone (and in the case of the default account, vibrate), the settings do not work and all emails have the same "default" email tone and do not vibrate. Is this a known issue?
