Good morning all. I've got a couple different keyboards installed and was hoping to switch from the stock keyboard to something a bit more sleek / customizable. However, when I change my keyboard under settings, it doesn't seem to take hold. Email, Handcent, all other input methods seem to still be using the stock keyboard. Any advice?

Go into ur text app or email or anything with a text field and long press in the text field till a menu pops up and then select "input method". Then select the keyboard you want.

Man, that's a bummer. That's kind of a lot to do to just to get a keyboard up.

You only have to do it once. After u do it once the keyboard you chose pops up automatically when u type.

Amazon has thumb board for free today. I like using the split keyboard when I'm typing in landscape mode.
