Custom Car Dock vs. Stock Car Dock on ICS

Lucky me, I got the soak test ICS on my RAZR!

Whenever I load the phone into my car doc, it brings up my replacement car dock application, which is perfect! When I un-dock it, it closes the replacement car dock, which is also perfect!

But after it closes the custom car dock, it leaves the stock car dock up... which isn't quite so perfect.

Back in 2.3 or whatever the phone came with stock, Android asked me which car dock to use when I docked the phone, if my replacement dock application had been updated. ICS asks no such question.

Is there a way to shut off the stock ICS car dock application, prevent it from loading, anything?

Try disabling the stock ICS car dock from your applications list in settings. It's a workaround but it might do the trick.
