So I got my replacement phone from Verizon for my DROID2.
And to my dismay it was a global. I can choose from 2 Roms, none of which are gingerbread based. So, how can I make this the best "hacking" experience I can?

There's also Angel Rom.

So 4, HeXen, Angel, CM7, and Fission.

blasphemy.....pure blasphemy.

we have good old solid Fission, angel, hexen, (something that starts with a p?) and last but most assuredly not least, the CyanogenMod7 project.

and please dont blame the phone...the D2G is what the D2 was supposed to be. i think the D3 being a 'global' phone kinda proved that theory.

I would wait a while, and be a little less careful with my phone. Then, if it does break, hopefully the insurance would send a droid 3 instead of a droid 2 global.
