Credit card not

well I tried to download several apps to my new Droid X and the credit card was declined. It seems that google market does a preauthorization for a $1 and both credit cards I have need more that that to authorize.


Any ideas?

Is there a way to prepay for apps?

One of my wife's cards always gets decline for some reason for apps. I think their system is just picky for some reason. They said call the bank, we did and they said everything was fine. Her other card and my card both work fine. I know this probably don't help though. Try a Walmart prepaid Visa, should work.

I'd talk to your bank about that issue. You're saying that you cannot authorize a $ 1 charge ? Most "pay at the pump" gas stations authorize a $ 1 charge as well. Seems a bit short-sighted on your bank's side.

Get a rechargeable card at walmart.....they are Visa and work with no problems.
