The earliest I've heard of Verizon giving an early upgrade is 30 day ahead. And since yours still functions that won't help your case in getting an early upgrade at all.

They'll most likely tell you to buy a phone at full price. You're better off buying from craigslist or Swappa.

Sorry for the bad luck

Yea, buy a used one. Your broken phone should get you around $75 or more if selling it for parts.

Samsung will fix it for around $150. You'll need a phone for a couple weeks but its cheaper than fixing it yourself or buying a phone at full price.

I have no idea what it would cost, but there might be a local store/repair shop that could fix it. I know there is one 10 minutes from me. (I'm just north of Boston)

Haha, guess irritating the fudge out of them can work:D

Was there any problems with your previous phone? Might've helped you upgrade a bit early.
