Couple of Question on the Apps running.

When you tap the double squares in the lower right part of the phone it shows what programs you have just run. If they stay there are they running and using battery power, when removed do they help save the battery. Lastly is there a way to remove/close them all with one or two moves. thanks ED

No those programs are not necessarily running that show there. As far as programs running and using battery. Generally speaking you don't need to be concerned about this since the Android operating system manages automatically based on your use.

they are recent apps, they can be removed but thats not needed, they usually dont use any cpu and used memory uses the same ammount of power as empty memory
