Not sure if everyone already knows this and I look like a complete idiot
    Or
If I'm the only person with enough music to actually need it
    Anyway
When you open the music player and go to songs you can type things in and it will search it like the search in iTunes

I hope you're not suggesting you discovered a search function in a music program =P

Oh sweet I didn't know that! You taught me something, thanks :)

One thing I don't get about the music part is... my Taylor Swift CD won't show up on my Droid! I have maybe six other albums on there, all of them are CDs I had on my computer and moved over to Droid, Taytay is the only one that won't go over. When I plug it in to my computer though, it says that its in there. I dunno what's up maybe Droid is too macho to play Taylor Swift?

you can also search for music from the search widget on the desktop (or by pressing the magnifying glass) if you go into settings, search, searchable items. Then you can search for music from whatever screen you are on.

I think you answered your own question :icon_eek:

Just kidding of course, my guess is the culprit would be DRM.

I have both her CDs on mine. :)

You have to be careful with them though because the music CDs have a data partition on them that tries to auto-launch some sort of software when you insert it. I'm not sure what it does because I don't run Windows or OSX , but it's probably some goofy digital copy scheme (remember the brouhaha with the Sony / BMG rootkit?). Anyway if you're a Windows user, you should ALWAYS keep auto-run disabled. It will save you much pain.
