Contacts

Couple of things; I'm an Android newbie and I was wondering about my Google Contacts.
Is there really no way to sort these contacts by last name? Also, is there a way to force my contacts list to only show the "My Contacts" from Google? I don't want to have to erase someone after every time I send a new e-mail...

Welcome! I have a Droid so my suggestion may not work.
On the Droid, open contacts, tap menu (second soft key from left at bottom) tap display options, tap sort list by, select last name. In the same menu under the Choose contacts to display, tap your Gmail account. There are several options that may help.

Nope... no "Display Options". I'm guessing I just gotta wait for Froyo...

I thought that particular option has been on my phone well before Froyo. When you open contacts what options do you see when you tap menu?

Display options does not appear on the X like the Droid. I have not found a way to sort by last name or show only contacts with phone numbers on the X.

Geez, that is not right! I've not seen or touched an X so I'm not able to provide any concrete guidance, sorry.
