Consumer Reports knocks Verizon iPhone antenna

    Just saw this today at another forum. And of course the pro iPhone ppl are pretty upset in the CR blog comments.

    I mean the AT&T version still isnt recommended, so why all the uproar from iPhone folks for the Verizon version?

    And like last time Anandtech tested it...and while its a lil better than the AT&T one:

    (AT&T's loses 19 decibels, Verizon's loses 15 when covering that area with one finger (CR wording) Held normally (Anandtech wording))

    the closest other phone on the Anandtech list lost 10 decibels. So I would say that, according to the same folks that saw the problem with the AT&T one, yea its still a problem.

    And like with the AT&T version, the fact that it takes 1/2 an inch of hand to kill the signal that much is the big problem that some ppl fail to realize.

    Its not that it loses signal, its how easy it it to make it lose signal thats the problem.
