Next month when Apple releases it's upcoming "tablet", the whole genre of this topic may take off in a new direction! It's being announced on Jan 26. Not sure if it will replace my Droid, but it's quite possible desktop sales will take a big hit when this hits the streets.

So far, my Droid is only an accessory to compliment my desktop. For most uses, the real estate of my 24" screen leaves the Droid in the dust, as well as the full keyboard. But I will say, for tracking my eBay sales, the Droid literally flies with Pocket Auctions vs logging onto my eBay account on the desktop! Each has its place. I couldn't do without either.

The Droid has definitely opened up new doors and will push others to make better things in their devices. Several years from now we may just plug in a monitor, keyboard , and a hard drive when we are where we need them. Unplug it when we're on the go.

Droid is a great supplement but there's no replacement for my PC.
