    As long as you were on a .596 Gingerbread based ROM, just wipe data/cache and flash Apex

    But I used rom manager to boot into recovery and move from apex to liberty and the other way around .

    It worked

    If it worked for you, that's good. I have just heard so many issues with using ROM Manager on the X/2 because of the bootloader.
