ComCast email

Did a fdr on my phone and set everything up the WAY I want and now my comcast email will not update unless I go into the app and force it to show new email's... Checked settings and they all look good... The phone is a droid razr that is rooted on a stock rom. Any ideas? I am using titanium backup and superuser... This has me baffled matt

Did you reinstall apps with Titanium? Sometimes that can cause a conflict.

Uninstall the comcast and log out your account then try it again.

Days later and still no luck!! I don't get it! I've bricked my phone in the past and can fix it! This has me stumped!! I have. Noticed in accounts it says "sync is off" and I see no way to turn it on..

One my Razr Maxx I have a 'Mailbox Check frequency' option under General Email Settings.

Are you not able to tap on the Comcast lable under your accounts list? That should be where your sync on/off is. It could also be a ROM conflict issue since you are using a custom ROM.

No custom rom here... But, after all the things I tried I decided to use k-9 email client and everything is back to normal
