You need to be rooted. Then a theme or Rom is needed after that.

Lots of people say not to use it, but I have had great success with easy root and rom manager. I went from being a noob to running a custom rom and overclocked in a day. I would still read a lot of these forums and everything pertaining to rooting...but rom manager is a pretty good way to go IMO.

Its prolly best for making the backups, really easy

If you were to ask anyone in the Rescue Squad here about easy root, they would tell you no, as will I, it is more problematic than it's worth

I will post a link to a sure fire way to Root your Droid
