rebooted into recovery, factory reset and wiped cache, installed rc2, then google apps, then deprimed kernel all the latest files from the op. reboot then log into my google account, apps restore, then I go into titanium and restore any apps that did not download from the market without data, then I restore only the data that is marked as safe to restore with titanium, phone was running like a top, next thing you know i have several voicemails in google voice. I was missing calls. I tried calling from my work phone, it rings like two times then goes to VM. So I did a restore from nandroid to nightly 2.22. I have tried other versions as well and I was missing out on SMS and calls.

I have yet to try out any CM7 builds and I really want to try out the most recent build. Should I be flashing this one (RC2) or the newest build in the CM Build Thread which is nightly 14? It appears by looking at the threads that they were both posted on 3-8.

Are you using a compcache kernel? Also I heard that compcache is broken in RC2. Try using Winner00 CM7RC2 that he had in his post under this forum

I'm dropping 3G after a phone call. I remember this being an issue awhile back. Is this still a known issue or should this not be happening?

Are you using the stock Kernel?

I am using the stock kernel, and 3g comes right back after a call.

Well, I took the plunge last night and am now running RC2 on my Droid. I've been a very happy and satisfied Sapphire user for many months now. Was very saddened that development has stopped there, but, Cyanogenmod seems to be doing quite well now that I worked through the install. That didn't go so smooth, but, I eventually got it working, all my apps restored, and LP up and running. Time to do a nandroid I think. :) I'm sure there'll be little tweaks I need to make here and there to get everything back to the way I like it completely, but, so far I have to say this is a great ROM. Thanks for all the hard work on this and making it available for us original Droid owners. (Hey, I'm fighting upgrading until that pretty "little" bionic hits the stores ;))

First time w/ CM. I tried a while ago, but had problems (user error I'm sure) and I've had it for a few days and really like it.

One issue I have is w/ offscreen music controls and music. They work great, however sometimes when I press the power button to turn the screen on or off it shuts down the stock music app. Occasionally it pauses the song. Other times when I turn the screen off while listening to the music app the song skips. Actually that happens probably 80% of the time. Is this an issue for anyone else and is there a fix?
