    Installed CM 7.1 Stable and everything ran smooth. Few hrs later, I ran the V6 supercharger and then the 99supercharger (3g) script and after the phone went to sleep for a period of time WIFI was broken. Switched to 3g and it was broken also. Both showed solid white icons with no green activity. Wiped Cache and reinstalled ROM and same thing happened.

    I have since deleted the 99 script and rebooted and let the phone sleep for a few mintues and then checked WIFI and it works and switching to 3g works as well. I am guessing the 99 script is not friendly with this rom or maybe it was just my particular phone.

    Another possibility is that I have been running the Winner's builds prior to today with no issues. Do these builds have a tweek on internet settings that the official build doesn't??

    Thanks, winner!
    Running pretty good now.

    It's a bit of a hassle flashing each time -
    * flash ROM
    * flash kernel
    * flash google apps
    * log in
    * wait for sync to finish (phone is damn near unusable until after this)
    * fix weather widget

    Ah, well, it's all done now. Lovin' the OG.

    I had that for a while, too.
    It locked up for a few minutes and I pulled the battery. After that it simmered down and signals were green again. Haven't seen it since then.

    The newest release can't just be flashed on top of the previous CM7.1 build from Winner without re-flashing gaps, log in (green android Andy screen), and syncing of contacts??? Or did I just miss read your post? I've not had my Red Bull this morning and only one cup of coffee....

    CM doesn't include Gapps.
    I don't wipe anything but dalvik cache, so all my contacts remain. Still, Google log in and sync takes time.

    I really hate to keep bringing this up, but I've been offered no help in this thread. Running the 10/02 nightly on Moto Droid 1 and, like with all other CM7s I've ran, the Google Apps market just disappers from my phone after a few days. I can reflash Google Apps, but it just happens again. Only with CM7, it happens on stable as well as every nightly I try. I'll flash whatever the latest nightly is this weekend and see how it works. Quite irritating, as CM7 has been by far my favorie ROM so far. (Notification widgets are awesome)

    and you're getting your gapps from the link in the original post? the most recent one?
    maybe you had a bad download. i would re-download the gapps just in case.

    if you have root explorer i would check out if the Vending.apk is still located in /system/app ...

    maybe what's happening is your market being updated, so in addition to the Vending.apk in /system/app there would be one named something like com.google.android.vending-1.apk in /data/app. maybe for some reason there's something wrong with the updating process.

    either way go into settings> applications> manage applications> all> market> clear data (and cache, if possible)

    weird problem, don't really know what else to tell you. that's probably why no one has responded.

    Yes sir, the latest Gapps. I'll redownload just to be safe, though. And yes, vending.apk is in /system/apps. And strangely enough, /data appears to be empty.

    Yes sir it is. Also, photos are not saving, they aren't even in the /sdcard/DCIM folder. Perhaps a bad download? But it's happened with each one... hm...
