battery life has been abnormally good for me on build 22...haven't tried anything else since. after 14 hours of usage i'm usually about 50% left. thats with light calls, medium texting, and heavy wordfeuding...

Booting up the new build right now flashed over 29-2. Will it boot loop? M-bootanimaton...-spinning... -button lights- dimmed...-lock screen. Phew. It's alive. Woohoo. I didn't back up. It's always suspenseful to me when I don't back up. New mods all work great.

Any chance the DX Gingerbread leak will help our phones? I heard someone say that was what was needed to solve the dropped 3G problem.

Also I just made a strange discovery. I had my phone plugged in and did a battery pull. The screen shut off then the phone rebooted and was completely functional with the battery out. On Blackberrys if you did this it would start up but wouldn't boot...it would just bring up a screen showing no battery. I could swear Froyo wouldn't boot without a battery either. Maybe this is common knowledge but I thought it was very strange.

Not sure what change it was between winner's 22-2 build and RC3 but I have a lot more available ram now. I haven't changed any of my compcache settings or kindred/autokiller settings and I have at least twice the amount of avaible ram.

Before, going to settings -> applications -> running services, it would show a max of 22mb - 5mb. Now I am showing 58mb - 52mb free.

So far, I'm liking this build!

Use your phone for about 6+ hours then come and let us know if you're still having the same amount of RAM :icon_ banana:

Any chance for the video zoom fix? Otherwise this rom looks flawless.

Hmmm? Not sure what to think about this. I downloaded winner's RC3 and transfered it to my sd card. Booted into RZ, wiped everything and then attempted to install. This is what I get:

    Opening update package...
    E: Can't open /sdcard/Roms/update-cm-7.0.0-RC3-Droid-winner00-signed.zip
    (bad)
    Installation aborted

I'm downloading a fresh copy of winner's build so hopefully that will fix it. If not, any ideas? I'll report back soon.

EDIT: Damn, that didn't work? Anyone else having trouble with this? I'll flash back to my latest backup for now, I believe it was #28.

Installed Winner's RC3 build this morning, it's the first time I've been able to run my music player (Subsonic) and Nav at the same time without needing a swap file. Normally firing up Nav would kill my music within minutes. Loving it!

I've been running build 31 for the past couple of days now and the amount if ram free I have has never been better. It'll dip into the 30s but will go back up to the 60s and sometimes even 70s without a reboot. I'm not sure what they did but my droid had never run better after this much up time.

    Shouldn't the filename be update-cm-7.0.0-RC3-Droid-winner00-signed.zip, not update-cm-7.0.0-RC#-Droid-winner00-signed.zip
