I found that fiddling with the cm notification setting got them going for me. No themes here. Pure vanilla.

Something I have noticed when switching between ROMs it seems CM7 creates a file /downloads , when I flash another ROM it strips pictures from my main photo folder and places then in the now /downloads file, the pictures in the original /download folder are still there but the ROM only sees the newly created /downloads file . If I remove the /downloads file then flash ROM it is as normal, but if I just flash without removing the /downloads file the mess will remain. Wipe 3 times, dalvik as well. Can someone make it where the install creates /download and not /downloads file ? Main SDCard directory .

What are you using to switch ROMS?

What are you using to switch ROMS? :)

Camaros, where is the battstats.bin file located, and is deleting it the same as clearing it in RZR ?

I dont use RzR but i would assume so, as cwm has the same option.

Clockwork Mod , but doing it manually , weird I can install Pete's GPA builds , no /downloads created , MIUI , no /downloads created (MIUI does create a MIUI folder to cache themes) , but as soon as I install CM7 , there it is , /downloads and all goes haywire .
I have carefully assessed this before commenting , it is CM7 creating the file and stripping pictures from the main picture file , they are not lost but misplaced .
The /download file was created long ago when I took some pics from a MMS and saved them , it has remained and if I DLed a pic from the net it would also go to that folder , hasn't been a problem for some time now , until CM7 GB .
Sorry for the double post , Dolphin sometimes does that to me .

Nope, just the usual that I always have. The only thing I can think of is that I haven't wiped battery stats in a while.. but I don't think that should have an effect should it? Since *normal* users who don't fiddle with their phone never have to wipe battery stats.

Everyone should wipe battery stats, my brother has a Droid Incredible running stock/unrooted and his battery reporting has had corruption that required wiping the battery status bin file after a proper charge.

Try the stock kernel, maybe it will perform better on your device.

Unfortunately, I was having major issues with 57. I had to revert to 7.0.2. I couldn't stand not being able to open my settings. I couldn't even do app2sd. =(

I've tried the 900mhz LV kernal. My performance does not seem to be any different than using the latest deprimed. Everything seems to work.

New build for Droid and Inc.! Based off 2.3.4. This build might have some bugs just because of 2.3.4 getting merged. They will probably be worked out within the next few day.

Is it recommended to wipe more than system/boot/cache before flashing?
