Done all of that for all 4 diff ROM's I've tried since the "fix", as well as wiping /boot

Just to give you an update-

I installed CM and LGB and kept the stock kernel. No issues now. My issue lies with the deprimed kernel apparently.

Cant detect router - Reboot/reset router, been talked about in various threads already.

I'm skipping #57, but the stable is working fine, we'll see what the next few nightlies bring ...

If you have an issue with deprimed you should 'pop' over to the 'kernel' thread and let me know.....get it..pop..kernel :)

When your device does a google backup, your remembered wifi access points get backed up then restored upon completing your login on the new/updated ROM. Sometimes things go wrong during the restore and you need to go into the wifi settings, long click each network and select forget. Now create a new connection to your router, should provide a constant connection.

If not let me know your router model and wifi security settings please.

Anyone else getting some insane battery times with CM7 and the stock kernel? I managed to go 15h with heavy GPS use for about an hour or so, some web browsing, VOIP and voice calls, and overnight standby. I had the stock kernel at 800/250. I'm now trying the kernel at 125 minimum and so far so good. It has been a few hours and I'm still at 100% charge!

Under CM 6.x there is no way I could go this long on a single charge doing all of those activities. The battery life is simply amazing. Not to mention GB flies with this stock kernel.

As the D1 is EOLed and has limited hardware as it is, this is a phenomenal release.

If you just flashed, after a charge or 2 it will go back to being normal. But it is better battery life though. I am going to flash winner #57 but with all these latest things prime, winner and CM team have done, it has made battery life better.

Pete just released his 0.2 kernals, CM compatible.

He spoke of it defaulting to whatever the ROM has in ramdisk, is CM set to 800 there on the ROM? Otherwise I'll have to run ascript or app if I want 800 ...

Anyone know how to go back to the CM7 stock kernel if I wanted to flash Pete's new 0.2 kernels? Can it be extracted from the .zip of cm7 somehow? I read some threads about it being in Rom Manger, but can't find them. Is there a download page for the kernels?

Not to my knowledge (but again I don't use ROM manager), I'd say the approach would be to flash CM7 again to get it's kernal on your device, then restore your saved backup.

Two easy things to do 1.) Make a nandroid backup now and go back to it if you don't like Pete's kernels, or 2.) Just flash the CM7 update.zip.

I always backup before trying a new kernel - even when I'm just updating deprimed.

I was just thinking that the kernal does seem to be included in the backup ...
