It changes the power profile in framework-res.apk.

It will change your font size and cause FC's on different apps.

The fix has been added to RevNumbers unofficial nightlies. You need to wipe data/cache, but per RevNumbers himself, he stated he got over two days out of CM7 with the fix.

I am running Rev's nightly. It is about the same, but has some tweaks such as Carrier Text Changer without rebooting.

The fix is not yet official. It's only available in Rev's unofficials.

My brain hurts today and I can't seem to wrap it around this thread. I am currently running CM7 on droid 2, nightly 42 from here. (CM7 Mirror network) Can I slap the latest revnumbers nightly right over top without wiping data just like I would a new official nightly? If so, could I expect basically the same ROM I have now but with better battery life?
