Cm7 and the android market

I installed cm7 and it did not have the market or google account sync. What happened

You need to install the Google gaps. You can find them in rom manager, but I think you need to buy the premium license. When you do, it's the second option. This will install the market, gmail etc.

Nevermind, I forgot you can't download apps. Just go to rom manager, choose google apps, second option. Disregard my previous post.

I tried that it kept telling me rom manager was a old version lol and I had no way pf updating it.

Ok. You're going to have to google it then. Look for google gaps for CM7.

I ended up sbfing back, downloading Rom Manager and gapps. Then reflashing CM7 and installing gapps through recovery. Gosh this ROM is sweet.
