CyanogenMod 6 RC2 Rom:
I just came over to CM from Bugless Beast and I just have a few questions. I read in the changelog for version 5 that there were a couple of features that I was interested in..ie volume buttons to skip tracks, and there was also mention of an Equalizer?? I looked in CM settings and in the music player itself and I cant find these settings. Were these options left out of version 6 or is it just because its an RC and its not full-featured? Ive read through the thread and cant seem to get anywhere.....also, some of my paid apps werent showing up in the market but I found the fix that is listed on page 4 or 5 and installed it and that didnt work. Has anyone else used this fix for the market with success? Im also new to CWM and Rom Manager so maybe I did something wrong there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: Reinstalled the market fix again and it worked...
Equalizer is the DSPMania app that comes installed with CM. I haven't been able to figure out how to skip tracks with volume button either.
Thanks for that. I found out that the screen has to be locked in order for the volume controls to work.
Ah, good to know thank you for that.
I already switched from Bugless Beast V0.4 to CM6
I've very satisfied with it so far! It's only been 2 days tho.
Just wanted to add something about my install. I came over from Liquid Frozen Y... rom and DIDN'T do any wipe and let it install via rom manager. Install went quick and painless and didn't have to down load my apps or data from backup.
No issues so far running two days.
^ good news!
I did a wipe on mine (coming from BB) but I just wanted it to be a fresh clean install.
the question about scripts on this rom have been asked several times..why cant we get an answer?
this is the wrong thread.
Can't get many of the apps I used to have access to (like Foursquare, for example) so I'll have to pass on this release. I'd love to try cyanogen sometime...
