    Anyone running this combo?
Anyone running this combo with no issues?
Once a day my Exchange/Corporate Account just stops getting email.
    Yahoo/Gmail work fine.
Reboot usually gets it working again.
    Once had to pull battery.
    It always starts working again.

Willing to switch to 6.x if need be. Love 7 but not that attached. ;)

Yup though I use Touchdown for my Exchange account. No problems here.

Wow. Surprised. 86 views, one reply and he isn't using the native app.
    Hmmmm.
I expected a lot of replies with people saying "yes and mine works fine".
    Maybe there is an issue.
I might just go to 6.x.x

Probably your best bet at this point.

The stock exchange support is pretty awful to be honest. It should auto-sync and notify emails put into folders. The lack of this support when Android launched baffled me, the lack of this ability STILL, has me completely dumbfounded honestly. Don't bother with it.

    Don't bother with it? LOL
I have been using this Droid for over a year now with Exchange and only had very occasional non-synch issues. I mean very occasional. For what I use it for it is plenty good enough.
Not to mention work pays for it so I kind of have to use it with my Exchange email.
Especially considering I am the IT Manager at my office and approved the use of any Droid OS with my Exchange Server.
    I don't really have a choice, my friend. ;)

I will try 6.0. If that sucks I will try a different ROM. If that just sucks, too, I will go back to stock.
(Of course by sucks I mean with Exchange. I love the ROM!)

    Thanks all!

If you're the IT manager, just approve the purchase and use of Touchdown. It works perfectly with exchange server, handles folders, calendar, tasks and contacts great. Lol iirc when the Droid X came out native email was such a mess that VZW was giving disgruntled customers touchdown licenses for free to keep them from returning the phones.

Its still the best app if you're looking for an enterprise class solution.

LOL There's no if, my man, I am the IT Manager. I wouldn't make that up.
    I support:
    4 BB's
    6 Droids
    1 iPhone
(used to be 10 BB's if that tells anyone anything... lol)

I have had the owner of the company and one of the attorneys try out Touchdown. The younger attorney loved it, the older owner wasn't impressed.
Since I want to stay on the same product my employees are using I will not go to Touchdown unless it is a company wide move. Everyone must be on the same software all the time. That would be like if I moved to Office 2010 and everyone else is on Office 2003... o wait, I do have 2010 and everyone else has 2003. Bad example. lololol

The bottom line is it worked 98% fine before I rooted and went to CM.
So if the problem is CM (and it did it again today) buying an app to fix something that I hacked seems kind of silly when I had the funtionality that I needed before.
Now if I root everyone and.... No that's crazy. hehehehe

I had the same problem. Pretty sure it's a RAM issue. You might try locking the app in memory using the supercharger script.

Eventually, I got frustrated with it (and a few other issues) and moved on to Liquid Gingerbread 1.92. So far, I'm happier with that. Exchange seems to work ok on it.

I dropped back to CM 6.x.x.
So far so good with the Exchange Integration.
Also seems to run better then 7. I don't think my Droid has ever been this responsive.
    Pleased so far...

Honestly, I hate to say it, but I had to go non-CM to finally get exchange to work reliably. I used touchdown for the trial and didnt have a problem, but stock app and enhanced email never worked. Always had errors and had to force a resync.

I went to a stock build 2.3.3 from Peter Alfonso, and i have not had a hic-up since!

It is sad. I miss many things that I really liked about CM builds. Been with CM since it was Jesusfreak back on a G1, but I have to have working email for my job. :(

    No problems here

I've been using CM7 since it came out for my D1. All of the aforementioned programs worked fine for me. I'm currently using Moxier Mail and it works great.

Maybe you need to do a wipe of the phone, clear the Dalvik cache, etc.

Since I switched to CM 6.1.2 Corporate Email through the Stock Email app is working fine so far (3 days without a reboot).

    /EDIT/ I wiped everything before I installed 7.
