Clockwork recovery and OTA gingerbread

Okay I decided to forgo roms for now and have returned to stock. I d/led OTA and Rooted it. How do I get to clockwrok recovery? I tried it through rom manager with no luck. and I think I read somewhere that using the boot strap will make you bootloop. Can any one help?

Edit: Nevermind I figured it out.

Use bootstrap unless you are using cm7 or liberty 3. Dont use ROM manager to flash anything on the d2...its a great app but not optimized for the d2. Manually do everything in cwr.
