Need some help folks. a friend of mine rooted and is trying to back up her current rom. She downloaded rom manager and is trying to flash Clockwork Mod recovery. When she attempts to flash it, it gives her an error message. "An error has occurred while attempting to flash recovery". anyone seen this before? I uninstalled and reinstalled rom manager. Same error. Would task killer or lookout block being able to flash custom recovery?

Just reboot and try again. If not try flashing alternate recovery towards the bottom of clockwork menu, reboot and then try clockwork again.

You may trying clearing cache/data in Rom Manager at settings/manage applications/all/rom manager

Can you flash an alternate recovery with the free version of rom manager, or just the premium? I was thinking about trying it out but want to make sure I can go back if I dont like it.
