I searched the forums for posts related to the alarm clock or the regular clock FC'ing.. I saw posts on switching between the two, but nothing about my issue - whenever I run either the clock or alarm clock. I get a FC popup..

Does anybody have any ideas on how to fix this?

Hmmmm, clocks should be working ... from a terminal, run:

    rstapps -p

    Then try the clock again

OK - can you capture a logcat when you press clock, until it FC's? I'm running 4.6 and no FC's ...

ah!.. I rebooted into recovery.. did another wipe and restarted.. It appears to be working now.. woohoo! I guess I should have tried this before posting to the forums.. I made an effort to find info on the matter but failed to exaust all the possibilities before seeking help.. Lesson learned!

    Life is good!

    Many thanks!

I hope/think he is kidding about the 4:30 am thing, but would be kind of a funny thing to program into your latest rom next April fools day or so ;)

Nah I set it for 4:30am and it goes off as it should. But I dont like my phone very much at that hour.

I hate when sarcasm doesnt work in typed context.
